A modern EasyClean free mix & Pump NS 7 grease separator with SonicControl was installed in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. This system reliably separates fats and oils from the waste water - an important prerequisite for hygienic and safe kitchen operation. It was crucial to integrate a high-performance dewatering solution that would fulfil the high requirements during the weeks when the kitchen is in session: Over 1,200 meals are prepared there every day. A special feature of the system is the integrated SonicControl layer thickness measurement. With the help of an ultrasonic sensor, the grease and sludge deposits in the separator can be checked precisely at any time - without having to open the system. This ensures safe, hygienic and predictable maintenance. Thanks to the well thought-out installation and modern technology, the new dewatering system fulfils all requirements for operational safety, environmental and water protection.
