Lifting stations
for wastewater

By lift into the canal
Area of application for lifting stations
Lifting stations are always essential when waste water accumulates below the backwater level. Their strength lies in overcoming gravity: if there is no natural gradient to the sewer, they lift the wastewater via the backwater loop so that it can flow into the sewer system. In this way, they reliably prevent water from being pushed back into the building during extreme weather events.
Lifting stations are installed inside buildings and can be installed in two different ways. Installation in the floor slab has primarily visual advantages: the cover plate for freely selectable surfaces and the tileable grate create an almost invisible lifting station – ideal for living spaces in the basement. Free-standing installation, on the other hand, is the cost-effective and clean solution, especially for retrofitting.
